Building FarmKit

If you know me in person, you’ve likely heard me discuss FarmKit, this digital farmers market project I have been dreaming about for years. Well, it is finally taking shape.

I have spent the last few years learning web development, mostly on the frontend side of things, and FarmKit has been the project I build up through my learning. With a little help from Claude Code, I have managed to move a bit quicker through the process of development, while still understanding the codebase well enough to push to prod.

Currently FarmKit is available at farmkit.us, and is hosted through my company Reimann Labs (ReimannLabs.com). The feature set is very limited, and is only offered to farms and customers in Wisconsin. This is mostly becuase I don’t trust my code at a large scale yet, however, if it grows enough locally, I will invest much more time into national stability and scaling my provisioned resources for the project.

Feel free to check it out, I may write some dev logs in the future, since it is still a work in progress.
